It usually starts the same way.
“We’ll just stop in for a drink.”
Maybe somebody wants to hit a few balls. Maybe somebody’s hungry. Maybe nobody really has a plan at all.
And then somehow it’s three hours later, the table’s full of empty glasses, someone is suddenly taking simulator golf way too seriously, and nobody seems all that interested in leaving.
Honestly? Those are our favorite nights at Beyond Golf.
Usually somebody orders wings for the table.
Then someone else adds the brisket french dip. Maybe a Cuban. Maybe another round of apps because “we should probably eat something else too.”
That’s kind of the thing about this place — it doesn’t feel like typical bar food.
The smoked meats, scratch-made sauces, rotating features… it all turns a casual stop into a real dinner without anybody really planning it that way.
At first it’s casual.
“Nah, I’m not golfing.”
Then 15 minutes later they’re taking practice swings and asking whose turn it is.
That’s what simulator golf does.
You don’t have to be good. Honestly, it’s usually more fun if you aren’t.
One great shot and suddenly everybody thinks they’ve figured golf out.
A few holes in and now:
And somehow the person who claimed they “don’t golf” is now fully invested in the match.
That shift is one of the best parts of the atmosphere here.
It never feels overly serious. It just feels fun.
A round of cocktails hits the table.
Maybe it’s a Sunset Mojito. Maybe an Old Fashioned. Maybe somebody orders something fruity and everybody pretends not to judge them before immediately asking for a sip.
By this point the patio lights are on, the energy in the room changes a little, and the night starts settling in.
That’s the sweet spot.
Those are the nights we love most.
No huge plans. No big production.
Just:
That’s kind of what Beyond Golf becomes this time of year.
Not just a place to golf.
A place to hang out.
At the end of the day, that’s really what we’ve always wanted this place to feel like.
Some people come for the golf.
Some come for the food.
Some come for the patio and drinks.
Most end up staying for all of it.
And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
👉 Come hang out with us this week at Beyond Golf Bar + Kitchen in Omaha and Eagle, Colorado.
